      just fyi – gravy is not the correct word. You should use the word sauce.

      Etymology: Middle English gravey, from Anglo-French gravé broth, stew
      Date: 14th century
      1 : a sauce made from the thickened and seasoned juices of cooked meat

      Haha, I’m going to be stuck at home here soon for about a week and I wanted to learn how to cook some of my favorite foods, unfortantly, we don’t carry a lot of the indegrients, so I don’t know if I’m going to be able to fix this. But I will def keep this video in my mind

      Thanks for the video! I am going to try sort of the same thing tomorrow. The curry I used to make, which is NOT traditional, but really homemade, contained a lot of veg as well. Also I use coconut milk instead of tomatoes to make it saucier. I personally like to add some lime juice and some palm sugar as well, to give it a bit of a twist. But really nice recipe. I’ll definitely use some of the stuff you showed.

    16. CBQCurryBarbecue on July 7th, 2010 12:29 pm

      ladies, next time try marinading the chicken in CBQ (or curry barbecue sauce) and barbecuing prior to cooking. also you can use that same marinade for a base of the curry sauce. bon appetit!

    21. janetchu on August 24th, 2010 5:48 pm

      I’m going to try this tonight. I’m missing a lot of ingredients but I’ll try it with the ingredients I do have.

    22. flatleythebard on August 26th, 2010 2:48 pm

      ‘Scuse the ignorance and apologies for not having read through the entire thread – but what is the “scandal” in this dish? Not sure of the meaning and it’s not a familiar curry term to me. On a personal note (and having been prodded many a time by a very close Indian friend!) I would have added about three times the amount of chili :D

    23. ShowMeTheCurry on August 26th, 2010 3:37 pm

      @flatleythebard
      The original title was “Spicy Chicken Curry” but we changed the name for a friend who was using our video for something he was working on :)

    24. usaalways on August 28th, 2010 7:40 am

      That looks wonderful! I want to do this dish soon, and will need alot more recipes as buying the spices will be pricey and too much just for one dish.
      Can u recommend a website to buy authentic indian spices? Thanx
